Mid-February is one of my busiest times during the school year and I can imagine it is the same for most students here at D’Youville. The Hawkesbury Canoe Classic (HCC) 2014 was a volunteer opportunity that has enriched my Exercise and Sports Studies internship experience in Australia.
The HCC is a long distance 111km river race. It started inland from Sydney where there are a lot of farms and rolling hills along the river. (more…)
